I am a native Nebraskan, born and raised in Kearney, Nebraska. I attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney and earned my undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice, with a minor in Theater. I was a Police Officer in Ravenna, Nebraska, for two years, then moved to Kimball, Nebraska, where I continued my law enforcement career, focusing on building community relationships with officers. My civic career did not end when I went to Law School. After graduating with my Juris Doctor from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln College of Law, I returned to the Panhandle as a prosecuting attorney in Scotts Bluff County. In 2021, I decided to move into private practice. I am on the court appointment list for Criminal cases where the public defender’s office conflicts out. In this role, I began to notice the waste and inefficiency in our local government. I ran for County Commissioner four years ago, and although I did not win, it did not dampen my desire to fight for a better Nebraska. This election cycle, I decided to run for State Government because I have the skills and drive it takes to stand up for District 48 in Lincoln. I will not let the Eastern Counties ignore the panhandle any longer, and I will not ignore you while I am there!
